Well, I survived my official first blizzard! The Blizzard of 2010 in New York! NYC public schools were closed today, and basically the whole city shut down! But life does go on, so I trudged to work as the snowflakes fell this morning. As I walked outside, all bundled up- rain boots and all.... I lost my hat to the gale force wind and my umbrella blew inside out... what a way to start the day! But I made it to the snow through the quiet city..... the office was bare bones today, funny how the city shuts down and native NYCers and East Coasters can't make it into work, but a California Girl makes it!This is my 'snowman' I made on my balcony.... my very first snowman or 'snow gal' EVER! Of course I had to jazz it up a bit! Here she is flashing her raisin tooth smile, wearing her best pearls of course!
