NYC is truly the city that never sleeps.... always on the move- Most people know about the Big Apple tourist spots, but here are some of my favorite places:
Madison Avenue - Upper East Side
-I love to walk down Madison Avenue, people watching, going into the boutiques, especially the Lilly Pulitzer store! It is such a more quiet area of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists.
Central Park
-Central Park is truly beautiful in any season! The bright orange and yellow leaves on the trees is my favorite time to head out to the park in the Fall. But I also love the great relaxation in the sun the park provides in the summer!
Crumbs Bake Shop
-Delish gourmet cupcakes, HUGE cupcakes, and more tasty in my opinion than the Magnolia cupcakes which are also famous in NYC. I love a good Red Velvet, and Crumbs does not disappoint!
Chelsea Market
-A great celeb spotting spot, and a great find! Many great restaurants, stores, florists, a nice refuge and escape in the afternoon- fantastic coffee at Ninth Street Espresso as well when you need a caffeine boost!
I am definitely a Californian, but am proud to say I am a New Yorker!
